SNOW PICTURES IN THE LOWER WILLINGDON, EAST SUSSEX AREA 6 & 7 APRIL 2008

An outburst of cold polar air brought snowfalls to many parts of South East England on 6 April 2008.  A selection of photographs is given in the following gallery taken in the Lower Willingdon area of East Sussex and on the South Downs above Willingdon.  Snow started at 0915 UTC and was heavy/moderate till noon then moderate/slight till 1615 UTC. Snow depth 1650 UTC 6 April 2008 9 cms.
